FirstBag does not have a preference as to the operating system run on the handheld

Hardware
Various handheld are available in the marketplace, recommended manufactures are Symbol, PSC, Intermec, Datalogic, HPP etc. We have specialised experience with Symbol as a partner and PSC as a good value/performance alternative

Other points to consider when selecting handhelds
Drop specification, IP rating, Blue tooth compatibility, battery life, size, weight, scanning engine and brightness.
